Not Dead/Muffin Disaster

Hi anyone who reads this. I am not dead! I have taken a little break from the kitchen because the weather is so nice lately, and have been spending my free time at the pool! I attempted to return tonight, but had a kitchen disaster. I didn't have enough baking powder or soda, and my muffins just didn't rise correctly, and they were really dense. I am going to remake them once I get to the grocery store, because the batter was delicious... peaches and cherries roasted in a rum glaze, and a ginger cream swirl in the middle. mmmm. So, I am around, and I'll be back soon.

And PS! I just found out I am going to COSTA RICA in August!!!!! So now I have to try some Costa Rican cooking :)
